THE FINAL HOUR

April is one of my favorite months.

The first signs of spring. My birthday. Easter and Passover, both in our Haus.

This year I’m celebrating the end of a long winter in my home town in Germany. I wanted to riff on music that felt like that: Jazzy, restrained, a little strange. Something for an imperfect egg hunt.

So April is dedicated to the Icelandic-Chinese artist LAUFEY. A classically trained musician whose work moves between jazz and chamber music. Soft, precise, slightly out of time.

I keep coming back to SNOW WHITE.
