I made this sweater as armor. 

Not the kind that hardens you forever—but the kind you put on when you need to stand upright in a moment that’s hostile, confusing, or unsafe. When your body knows before your brain does that something is wrong.

This piece carries my anger. Cleanly. On purpose.
Anger as a boundary. Anger as clarity. Anger as protection.

If I ever find myself in an ICE situation—watching, witnessing, intervening, freezing—this is what I want on my body. Something steady. Something that says I’m here, and I see you, without having to explain itself.

Compassion comes later.
This is the part before that.

A relaxed, everyday knit—soft enough to live in, strong enough to hold weight. The message isn’t decorative. It’s declarative. This isn’t about shock. It’s about refusing to look away.
