LEARNED HOW TO MAKE CUSTOM KNITS!
Status: Archived / First Music Riff Drop
Dropped in March 2025, this was the first Riffhaus garment to channel music into thread. Inspired by the raw chaos of Fever to Tell, the set fuses precision knitwear with punk heat.
Not tied to any tour or concert, the piece instead served as a personal sonic manifesto—worn by the designer herself across campus, coffee shops, and corridors of MIT. A uniform for thinking loud.
Features include:
- Cropped knit sweater in splattered neon yellow and digital blue
- Back design: a machine knit snake, slithering across the shoulder blades like feedback
- High-waisted pencil skirt in solid electric yellow, form-fit and unapologetic
- Softened from wear, stretched slightly at the elbows from mid-lecture notes and vending machine debates
Interpretation:
This piece didn’t walk a red carpet. It walked hallways.
The first riff that said: We can wear the music too.
Archived with caffeine in the cuffs and riot in the stitches.
